Basketball Game Preview: Islesboro Central Eagles vs. Richmond Bobcats

The Islesboro Central Eagles just played last yesterday, but they'll still welcome the Richmond Bobcats at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Islesboro Central is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 60 points on Tuesday, they were much more limited against Pine Tree Academy on Friday. They had to suffer through a 58-30 loss at the hands of the Breakers.

Meanwhile, Richmond ended up a good deal behind Sacopee Valley on Wednesday and lost 54-38.

Islesboro Central now has a losing record at 5-6. As for Richmond, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-4.
