Meanwhile, Mount Olive was able to grind out a solid victory over Stringer on Friday, taking the game 48-39. The win continues a trend for the Pirates in their matchups with the Red Devils: they've now won six in a row.

Nanih Waiya's defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 15-8. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 28.8 points over those games. As for Mount Olive, their victory bumped their record up to 6-14.
