After losing to Timothy Christian the last time they met, St. Francis decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Spartans walked away with a 2-0 win over the Trojans on Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Spartans.

St. Francis easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-15.

St. Francis can attribute much of their success to Addi Samolinski, who had 14 digs and two assists. Those two assists gave Samolinski a new career-high. Audrey Obrochta also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

St. Francis' victory bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Timothy Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-1.

St. Francis wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against IC Catholic Prep on the 11th. As for Timothy Christian, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Rockford Christian on the 10th.
