Roosevelt skates past Riverdale Ridge with ease

Recap: Roosevelt Roughriders vs. Riverdale Ridge Ravens
Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only the Roosevelt Roughriders walked away with it. They took their matchup on the road on Friday with ease, bagging a 55-20 victory over Riverdale Ridge. Roosevelt pushed the score to 48-20 by the end of the third, a deficit Riverdale Ridge had little chance of recovering from.
Leading Roosevelt to victory were Xavier Ramirez and Bronco Hartson. Ramirez rushed for 250 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 13.9 yards per carry, while Hartson rushed for 188 yards and three touchdowns on only nine carries. Ramirez is on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in the last four games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Luc Vigil, who rushed for 57 yards and a touchdown on only five carries.
The win makes it two in a row for Roosevelt and bumps their season record up to 9-2. As for Riverdale Ridge, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-3.
Roosevelt is on the road again on Saturday and play against Green Mountain at 1:00 p.m. on November 18th. Green Mountain is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling. Riverdale Ridge does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
