Basketball Game Preview: Bothell Cougars vs. Eastlake Wolves

The Bothell Cougars will square off against the Eastlake Wolves at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Bothell has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 203 points over their last three contests.

Bothell took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They walked away with a 63-54 victory over North Creek.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Bothell to victory, but perhaps none more so than Stefan Savovic, who went 6 for 8 en route to 14 points and three steals. Savovic has been hot, having posted two or more steals the last five times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Raider Finau, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten boards.

Meanwhile, Eastlake unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They lost to Interlake at home by a 56-39 margin.

Bothell's win bumped their record up to 8-12. As for Eastlake, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-9.

Bothell strolled past Eastlake when the teams last played back in January of 2024 by a score of 59-44. Will Bothell repeat their success, or does Eastlake have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
