Soccer Recap: Loretto Takes a Loss

Loretto lost against Richland back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Mustangs fell just short of the Raiders by a score of 1-0.

Loretto's loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Richland, the victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 11-4-3.

Loretto does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Richland, they will square off against Battle Creek at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Richland's defense better be ready for this one: Battle Creek have averaged an impressive 4.5 goals per game this season.
