Baseball Recap: Jeffersonville Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Jeffersonville can now relate to. They fell just short of the Seymour Owls by a score of 4-2 on Monday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Owls this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 14-9 back in April.

Jeffersonville's loss dropped their record down to 16-11. As for Seymour, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-7 record this season.

Jeffersonville does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Seymour, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 6-4 defeat against Evansville North on the 7th.
