Basketball Recap: Tupper Lake Takes a Loss

Tupper Lake lost against Saranac Lake back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Tupper Lake Lumberjacks had to suffer through a 65-34 loss at the hands of the Saranac Lake Red Storm. The Lumberjacks were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 37-8.

When it comes to explaining why Tupper Lake lost, don't look at Felix Bodeewes. Despite the final result, he went 6 for 15 en route to 17 points and six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Colin Strack, who posted eight points.

Tupper Lake has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-6 record this season. As for Saranac Lake, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tupper Lake will host Norwood-Norfolk at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Tupper Lake is facing Norwood-Norfolk at the right time seeing as Norwood-Norfolk is stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Saranac Lake, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Canton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
