Coventry has gone 8-2 against Chariho recently and they'll look to pad the win column further  on Friday. The Oakers are headed away from home for the first time to  challenge  the Chargers  at 4:30  p.m. Chariho took a loss in their last  matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Coventry, who comes in off a win.
Coventry is headed out to face Chariho after opening their season at home and giving their fans just what they were looking for. The Oakers came out on top against Westerly by a score of  11-7  on Friday. The Oakers haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive  win against them.
  Leah Lapham was  incredible,  getting on base  in all four of her plate appearances with one  home run and two  runs. The team also got some help courtesy of  Emily Spadoni, who  scored two  runs while  getting on base  in three of her four plate appearances.
Meanwhile, Chariho didn't have quite enough to beat Waterford on Thursday and fell  5-3. The loss was the Chargers' first of the season.
  Brianna DeGiacomo was cooking despite her team's loss,   going 1-for-3 with one  home run and two  RBI. That  home run marked the first that  she  launched this season.
 Coventry couldn't quite finish off Chariho in their previous matchup  back in May of 2024 and fell  2-0. Can the Oakers avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
