Baseball Recap: Reedley Takes a Loss

Reedley and Pioneer Valley squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Reedley had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 1-0.

Reedley has also been struggling recently as they've lost 12 of their last 16 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-14 record this season. As for Pioneer Valley, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-15 record this season.

Reedley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Pioneer Valley, they will be playing at home against Wasco at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Panthers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Tigers have averaged an impressive 8.4 runs per game this season.
