Volleyball Recap: New Hope Indians vs. Plainview Bears
New Hope was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Plainview Bears. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Indians of the 2-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2023.
The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Plainview scored at least 18 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-18, 25-22.

New Hope is on the road again on Tuesday to play Sparkman at 9:30 p.m. As for Plainview, they will challenge Madison County at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Madison County comes in on five and Plainview on three.
