Football Recap: Skyview Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Skyview had lost three straight on the road, but on Thursday they dropped down to 3-5 to make it four. They fell 29-20 to the Wheat Ridge Farmers. The Wolverines lost against the Farmers in their previous head to head back in October of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 38-7 score last time.

When it comes to explaining why Skyview lost, don't look at Carlos Carillo. Despite the final result, he rushed for 75 yards and one TD, and also threw for 168 yards on 11 of 29 attempts. A healthy portion of Carillo's aerial production (103 yards to be exact) went to Ronin Lund.

Wheat Ridge's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-7. Their offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Wheat Ridge had a senior duo take command as Isaiah Osei gained 157 total yards and Jyles Ballenger rushed for 80 yards and one score on only six carries.

Skyview has already played their next matchup, a 17-14 win against Summit on the 31st. As for Wheat Ridge, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 71-20 defeat against Evergreen on the 30th.
