Baseball Recap: Stone Takes a Loss

After flying high against Wayne County on Friday, Stone came back down to earth. Stone came up short against Wayne County on Saturday, falling 10-4. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Stone's defeat dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Wayne County, they now have a winning record of 7-6.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Stone is set to challenge their familiar foe East Central at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Wayne County will face off against rival Laurel at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
