The Chicago Mt. Carmel Caravan will venture away from home to face off against the Loyola Academy Ramblers at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Chicago Mt. Carmel will come into the contest with an undefeated record on the line.

Chicago Mt. Carmel is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Illinois' top teams: Fenwick, who was ranked tenth at the time (Chicago Mt. Carmel was ranked second). The Caravan came out on top against the Friars by a score of 35-28 on Friday. 35 seems to be a good number for the Caravan as the team scooped up a win with the same number of points in their previous game.

Meanwhile, Loyola Academy took a blow against Carmel on Friday, falling 42-14. The Ramblers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Loyola Academy's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Chicago Mt. Carmel, their victory bumped their record up to 8-0.

Chicago Mt. Carmel suffered a grim 31-7 defeat to Loyola Academy in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. Can the Caravan avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
