Basketball Recap: Bulls College Prep Takes a Loss

Bulls College Prep came up into this matchup off a tough 58-point loss last Saturday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the Rowe-Clark Masai Lions by a score of 50-48 on Wednesday. The Bulls were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Masai Lions earlier this season, when they won 64-46.

Rowe-Clark got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Marcus Fossett out in front who posted 15 points along with eight boards and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Akeem Sheppard, who went 5 for 11 on his way to 11 points in addition to seven rebounds and three steals.

Bulls College Prep has been struggling recently as they've lost 13 of their last 14 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-19 record this season. As for Rowe-Clark, with the victory, they broke their seven-game losing streak and moved their record to 1-6.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Rauner the next time they take the court. Rowe-Clark will host Rauner at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, while Bulls College Prep will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
