Softball Recap: Lehi Finds Home Field Redemption Against Cedar Valley

There's no place like home for Lehi, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They never let the Cedar Valley Aviators get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory on Monday. That's more bragging rights for the Pioneers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The result came thanks to Abbi Harroun's shutout, as she gave up just three hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one walk in four consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Sophie Bliss, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with one home run, three runs, and two RBI. That's the most runs she has posted since back in May of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Mya Maughan, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI and one run.

Lehi hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their strikeout total in three consecutive matches.

Lehi's record now sits at 13-8. As for Cedar Valley, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 13-8.

Lehi wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 14-0 win against American Fork on the 22nd. As for Cedar Valley, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 6-5 victory against Wasatch on the 24th.
