Cabool extended their home winning streak to 15 games thanks to a huge performance from Jayne Thompson. The Bulldogs won by a set and slipped past the Houston Tigers 3-2 thanks in part to Thompson, who had 25 kills, four digs, and two aces. She has been hot, having posted eight or more kills the last seven times she's played.

Cabool was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 20-25, 25-16, 21-25, 25-12, 15-3.

Cabool's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Sophia Dotson led the charge by getting 12 digs and seven kills. Cambree Woodard was another key player, getting five aces.

Cabool's victory bumped their record up to 23-7-3. As for Houston, their defeat ended a three-match streak of away wins and brought them to 19-8-3.

Cabool wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Willow Springs on the 16th. As for Houston, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-1 loss against Ava on the 16th.
