Softball Recap: Texas City Plays to a Tie

Texas City saw some tournament action on Friday. Neither they nor the Foster Falcons could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 2-2 draw.

Harley Garza spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on four hits.

With that tie, Texas City's record moves to 7-3-1. As for Foster, they moved theirs to 7-0-1.

Texas City didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 7-5 victory against Dobie on the 21st. As for Foster, they will take on Deer Park at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
