Soccer Recap: Hagerty Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Hagerty and Timber Creek squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Hagerty had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Timber Creek Wolves by a score of 1-0. While losing is never fun, the Huskies can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 90th, while Wolves are ranked ninth).

Hagerty's defeat dropped their record down to 10-2-3. As for Timber Creek, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-3-1.

Hagerty didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 7-2 loss against West Orange on the 4th. Timber Creek has also already played their next game, a 3-1 win against Spruce Creek on the 4th.
