Basketball Game Preview: North Lincoln Knights vs. North Iredell Raiders

The North Lincoln Knights and the North Iredell Raiders will face off at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday without much rest, having both just played. One thing working in North Lincoln's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last 23 matchups.

On Monday, everything came up roses for North Lincoln against West Iredell as the team secured a 73-15 win. The Knights have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 14 games by 26 points or more this season.

Among those leading the charge was Hailey Hagler, who dropped a double-double with 11 points and ten rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Lydia Cipriano, who went 5-for-8 on her way to 10 points along with eight boards and five steals.

North Lincoln smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 11 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in nine consecutive contests.

Meanwhile, North Iredell had just enough and edged Hickory out 40-38 on Monday. The victory continues a trend for the Raiders in their matchups with the Red Tornadoes: they've now won four in a row.

North Iredell's win bumped their record up to 17-8. As for North Lincoln, they pushed their record up to 23-1 with the victory, which was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season.
