Lafayette strolled into their game on Monday with a perfect record and they left with the same. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Paducah Tilghman Blue Tornado a 3-0 shutout. The three-run effort marked the Generals' lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

The result came thanks to Abby Winkler's shutout, as she gave up just a hit.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Anna Clay Denton, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played. Another player making a difference was Brynna Harris, who scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in two of her three plate appearances.

Lafayette pushed their record up to 12-0 with the victory, which was their tenth straight at home. As for Paducah Tilghman, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-4.
