Soccer Game Preview: Deseret Peak vs. Sky View

Deseret Peak is preparing for their first region matchup of the season on Friday. They will venture away from home to challenge the Sky View Bobcats at 6:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Deseret Peak came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 6-3 to Cyprus. The match was a 2-2 toss-up at halftime, but Deseret Peak couldn't quite close it out.

Owen Kitchen and Bryan Torres scored all three of Deseret Peak's goals, bringing their combined season tally to four goals.

Meanwhile, while the 3-3 score might suggest a draw, it was Weber who was credited with the victory on Tuesday. The Warriors got it done in the shootout by posting four goals to Sky View's three. The defeat continues a trend for Sky View in their meetings with Weber: they've now lost six in a row.

Deseret Peak's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Sky View, they now have a losing record of 1-2.
