Baseball Recap: North Sanpete Hawks vs. Canyon View Falcons
North Sanpete had lost five straight on the road, but on Friday they dropped their record down to 8-12 to make it six. They lost 10-4 to the Canyon View Falcons. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Falcons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-2 on Tuesday.
North Sanpete got a good showing from Christian Giacomazza, who tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Giacomazza has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one walk in seven consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, North Sanpete saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tyson Guidos, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.
