Flag Football Recap: Northglenn Takes a Loss

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Northglenn couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They took a blow against the Arvada West Wildcats on Saturday, falling 38-0. The shutout was out of character for the Norsemen seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in August.

Lila Watson threw for 113 yards on 14 of 35 attempts. Leah Jaimes was her top target, picking up 58 receiving yards.

The loss snapped Northglenn's winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 12-5 record. As for Arvada West, the win was the 12th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-2.

Northglenn does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Arvada West, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 20-0 defeat against Chaparral on the 18th.
