Softball Recap: Shaker Heights Takes a Loss

Shaker Heights lost against Brunswick back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Red Raiders lost 10-1 to the Blue Devils. The Red Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Shaker Heights saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ekko Armstrong, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Shaker Heights' defeat dropped their record down to 13-7. As for Brunswick, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Shaker Heights will host Mayfield at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Brunswick, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against Lorain at 5:00 p.m.
