Baseball Recap: Pottstown Trojans vs. Phoenixville Phantoms

Pottstown had lost four straight at home, but on Tuesday they dropped their record down to 1-10 to make it five. They lost 14-0 to the Phoenixville Phantoms. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Trojans of the 12-2 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

As for Phoenixville, they moved to 6-7 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak. Their hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

For Phoenixville's part, Cadin Coleman looked comfortable as he kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits over four innings pitched. Coleman also tossed no walks, which is notable because the Phantoms are 4-2 when he allows at most one walk, but 2-5 otherwise.

On the hitting side, Kevin Kingsbury was incredible, getting on base in all five of his plate appearances with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high.
