Basketball Game Preview: Notre Dame Titans vs. Manchester Greyhounds

Notre Dame is 4-0 against Manchester since December of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Notre Dame Titans will face off against the Manchester Greyhounds at 7:30 p.m. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Notre Dame is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering South Webster just ended the team's five-game winning streak on Saturday. They received a blow as they fell 53-37 to the Jeeps. While losing is never fun, the Titans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 307th, while the Jeeps are ranked 47th).

Meanwhile, Manchester unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Saturday. They took a 46-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of Fairfield. While the Greyhounds didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Lions 17-10 in the first quarter.

Notre Dame's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-4. As for Manchester, their loss dropped their record down to 9-9.

Notre Dame strolled past Manchester in their previous matchup back in January of 2024 by a score of 67-49. The rematch might be a little tougher for Notre Dame since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
