Soccer Recap: Henry Clay Comes Up Short

Henry Clay managed to slip by Boyle County the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Blue Devils came up short against the Rebels on Wednesday, falling 5-1. Having soared to a lofty seven goals in the game before, Henry Clay couldn't push the score so high this time.

Henry Clay's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Boyle County, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-0-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Henry Clay will head out to challenge Lexington Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Boyle County, they will square off against Southwestern at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday.
