Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday Bailey Barnyak stepped things up a notch to give Carmichaels the 'W'. Barnyak was dialed in as she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out 12 over six innings pitched. She was dominant the last time she took on West Greene back in April of 2024, so they probably should've seen this coming. Barnyak has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts any time she's pitched this season.
