Basketball Game Preview: Clayton Yellowjackets vs. Santa Rosa Lions

Meanwhile, Santa Rosa entered their tilt with Fort Sumner/House on Saturday with eight consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with nine. They secured a 71-67 W over Fort Sumner/House.

Santa Rosa pushed their record up to 13-3 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.2 points per game. As for Clayton, their loss dropped their record down to 9-6.

Clayton came up short against Santa Rosa when the teams last played back in February of 2024, falling 60-53. Can Clayton avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
