Volleyball Recap: Skyline Takes a Loss

Skyline lost against Clever back in October of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Tigers fell 2-0 to the Blue Jays.

Tymber Pinon paced Skyline's offense, picking up four kills. Pinon got some help from Jenna Hunt and her eight assists. Finally, Pinon was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high three blocks.

Clever found their leader in freshman Allie Dunn, who had nine digs and three aces.

Skyline's loss dropped their record down to 9-7-2. As for Clever, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-5-2 record this season.

Skyline has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Glendale on the 27th. As for Clever, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Liberty on the 27th.
