A high-profile recruiting battle between college basketball powerhouses Duke and Kentucky will come to an end Thursday when Marques Bolden of DeSoto (Texas) announces his decision at a press conference.

The DeSoto Independent School District confirmed the announcement Wednesday.
Bolden, a 6-foot-11 center, is the top unsigned and uncommitted prospect in the Class of 2016. 247Sports has him pegged as the No. 15 overall player and No. 1 at his position.

As a senior at DeSoto, Bolden averaged over 23 points and 10 rebounds per game. The Eagles went 35-2 en route to the Texas Class 6A state title and No. 10 national ranking by MaxPreps.

247's Crystal Ball shows Duke as a slight favorite over Kentucky to win his services. Kansas, Louisville, North Carolina and Texas were among the other schools to offer.
