Baseball Game Preview: South East Jaguars vs. Garfield Bulldogs

For the second straight game, South East will face off against Garfield. The Jaguars will be playing at home against the Bulldogs at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday.

South East fell victim to Garfield and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 1-0. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last seven times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

South East saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alejendro Pena, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Garfield has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-11 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs on average over those games. As for South East, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-17.
