Football Recap: Marshall's Win on Monday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Marshall put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They strolled past the Monroe Vikings with points to spare, taking the game 31-13.

Jaylin Macias was nothing short of spectacular: she threw for 87 yards and four touchdowns while completing 88.9% of her passes, and also punched in one rushing score. What's more, she racked up 156 passer rating, the most she's had since back in September of 2024. Sarai Rivera was in the mix too, providing Marshall with two TDs.

Marshall's win bumped their record up to 3-0.

Marshall wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 7-0 defeat against Carlsbad on the 22nd. As for Monroe, they have also already played their next game, a 48-0 loss against San Fernando on the 18th.
