Football Recap: Chelsea Piles Up the Points Against Paul W. Bryant + How To Watch

Chelsea won the last time they faced Paul W. Bryant and things went their way on Friday too. The Hornets breezed past the Stampede to the tune of 37-7. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Hornets' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Alabama football rankings (they are ranked 74th, while the Stampede are ranked 228th).

Chase Malone produced another solid performance rushing for 199 yards and four TDs on only 15 carries. Those 199 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Chelsea was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 298 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 206 rushing yards every time they've taken the field this season.

When it comes to explaining why Paul W. Bryant lost, don't look at Brandon Johnson Jr. Despite the final result, he rushed for 94 yards and one score on only 13 carries.

Chelsea's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Paul W. Bryant, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.
