After a string of four wins, Coldwater's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They took a hard 64-49 fall against the St. John's Bluejays. While losing is never fun, the Cavaliers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 150th, while the Bluejays are ranked 13th).

Coldwater's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 6-4. As for St. John's, they pushed their record up to 12-0 with the win, which was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season.

Coldwater will face off against Versailles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for St. John's, they will take on Marion Local at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Marion Local will roll in looking for their 12th straight victory, something St. John's surely won't give up without a fight.
