Soccer Game Preview: Magnolia West vs. Huntsville

The Magnolia West Mustangs will face off against the Huntsville Hornets at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Magnolia West is headed into their game with Huntsville looking for a result a bit more satisfying than what they got in their season opener against Paetow on Monday. Magnolia West and Paetow finished up their contest with a 5-5 draw.

With that draw, Magnolia West's record moves to 0-0-1.

As for Huntsville, they've got a clean slate this season. Last year, they finished on the right side of .500 (11-8-2), and they're hoping to kick off an even more successful campaign this year.

Everything went Magnolia West's way against Huntsville when the teams last played back in January of 2023, as Magnolia West made off with a 3-0 victory. Will Magnolia West repeat their success, or does Huntsville have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
