Basketball Recap: Woods Charter Comes Up Short

Woods Charter lost against Chatham Charter back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Woods Charter Wolves fell 43-32 to the Chatham Charter Knights.

Despite the loss, Woods Charter still got an impressive performance from Wesley Oliver, who posted 19 points in addition to five rebounds and three steals. That was a full 59.4% of Woods Charter's points, marking the sixth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.

Woods Charter has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-6 record this season. As for Chatham Charter, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 9-12.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Ascend Leadership the next time they take the court. Chatham Charter will host Ascend Leadership at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Woods Charter will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
