In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Nealy McCluskey, who got on base in all five of her plate appearances with four RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. What's more, she posted three hits, the most she's had since back in March. Another player making a difference was Rebecca Hughes, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs and two RBI.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Middle Tennessee Christian duked it out with Providence Christian Academy on Monday. The Cougars narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the LIONS 1-0.
Not much got past Kodi Hewitt, who gave up just three hits and racked up 16 Ks to keep Providence Christian Academy off the board. Those 16 strikeouts set a new season-high mark for Hewitt.
At the plate, Riley Osborne was excellent, going 2-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run.
Christ Presbyterian Academy's record is now 13-4. As for Middle Tennessee Christian, their record now sits at 8-10.
