Football Recap: Wenonah Dragons vs. Corner Yellow Jackets
If Wenonah was feeling good off their 32-0 takedown of Midfield last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Wenonah Dragons and the Corner Yellow Jackets were almost perfectly matched up on Friday, but the Wenonah Dragons suffered a 21-20 defeat. The loss was the Dragons' first of the season.
Despite the loss, Wenonah saw an underclassman step up: Damazzia Taylor picked up 138 receiving yards and two touchdowns, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. Taylor showed off some serious burst, lighting up the secondary with a catch for 69 yards.
