Basketball Game Preview: Oak Ridge Trojans vs. Rocklin Thunder

The Oak Ridge Trojans will challenge the Rocklin Thunder at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Oak Ridge knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past six games -- so hopefully Rocklin likes a good challenge.

Oak Ridge is headed into the matchup having just posted their biggest win since January 3rd on Monday. They blew past Granite Bay 72-52. The Trojans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Rocklin waltzed into their game on Monday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They snuck past the Bulldogs with a 62-56 victory. The win was all the more spectacular given the Thunder's disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 118th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 16th).

Rocklin pushed their record up to 14-8 with the victory, which was their tenth straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.3 points per game. As for Oak Ridge, their win bumped their record up to 14-6.
