Basketball Recap: Sleepy Eye Drops Season-High Score on Cedar Mountain

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Sleepy Eye). They were the clear victor by an 87-61 margin over the Cedar Mountain Cougars on Friday. Winning may never get old, but the Indians sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

The victory got Sleepy Eye back to even at 5-5. As for Cedar Mountain, their defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 6-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sleepy Eye and Lac qui Parle Valley will round out the year against one another at at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Cedar Mountain, they will square off against Yellow Medicine East at 10:45 a.m. on Friday.
