Ord beats Centura for their sixth straight win

Recap: Ord Chanticleers vs. Centura Centurions
The Ord Chanticleers had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 42.2 points), and they went ahead and made it six on Friday. They breezed by Centura on the road to the tune of 35-7. The result was nothing new for Ord, who have now won five matchups by 20 points or more so far this season.
Dylan Hurlburt was the offensive standout of the game as he rushed for 48 yards and three touchdowns, and also threw for 195 yards and two touchdowns. Ord also got a significant boost from Trent Mccain, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 129 yards.
Ord's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which bumped their overall record up to 7-2. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 42.5 points per game. As for Centura, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 4-5.
Ord will take on Cedar Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Centura does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
