Volleyball Recap: Guthrie Has No Trouble Against Elgin

It was a Battle of the Birds when Guthrie challenged Elgin on Thursday. The Bluejays were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Owls. For the Bluejays, this counts as revenge for the 3-1 win the Owls walked away with the last time they faced one another back in August of 2024.

The victory made it two in a row for Guthrie and bumps their season record up to 11-7. As for Elgin, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-21.

Guthrie has already played their next contest (against Classen SAS), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Elgin, they will challenge Altus at 9:00 a.m. on Friday.
