Mt. Ararat proved they can win big on Monday (they won by ten) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Yarmouth Clippers 10-8. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Eagles have posted since May 28, 2024.

Mt. Ararat's win bumped their record up to 3-7. As for Yarmouth, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Looking ahead, Mt. Ararat will square off against Oxford Hills at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. The Vikings' pitching crew has only allowed 2.3 runs per game this season, so the Eagles' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Yarmouth, they will challenge Gray-New Gloucester at 4:45 p.m. on Friday.
