Baseball Recap: IMG Academy Takes Down Ranked Trinity Christian Academy

On Friday, IMG Academy faced Trinity Christian Academy in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The IMG Academy Ascenders came out on top in a nail-biter against the Trinity Christian Academy Conquerors, sneaking past 2-1.

Chase Bentley tossed a big game, pitching 6.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off six hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one walk any time he's pitched this season.

At the plate, IMG Academy let Kelvyn Paulino and Nathan Eisfelder run wild. Paulino went 1-for-3 with one home run, while Eisfelder went 1-for-3 with one home run.
