Baseball Recap: Little Rock Southwest Comes Up Short

Little Rock Southwest fell victim to Conway and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 37-0 to the Wampus Cats. Having soared to a lofty 12 runs in the game before, the Gryphons' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Little Rock Southwest's defeat dropped their record down to 4-18. As for Conway, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 23-0.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Little Rock Southwest will square off against rival Central at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Conway is set to take on their familiar foe Cabot at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Wampus Cats 1.8, the Panthers 3.6) so any runs scored will be well earned.
