Holy Cross won the last time they faced Warren Easton and things went their way on Monday too. The Tigers put the hurt on the Fighting Eagles with a sharp 12-2 win. The result was nothing new for the Tigers, who have now won 12 matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Holy Cross got a great performance from Kaiden Rauch as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out seven over five innings pitched. Those seven strikeouts gave Rauch a new career-high.

On the hitting side, Dom Pellegrin was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-2. The team also got some help courtesy of Collin Tallet, who scored a run while going 1-for-1.

Holy Cross' victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 23-4. As for Warren Easton, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-11 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Holy Cross will welcome Central Catholic at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Warren Easton, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Jesuit at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
