Baseball Recap: Dwight Morrow Comes Up Short

Dwight Morrow was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They came up short against the Becton Wildcats, falling 10-1. Having soared to a lofty 14 runs in the game before, the Maroon Raiders couldn't push the score so high this time.

Dwight Morrow's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Becton, they pushed their record up to 5-5 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Coming up, Dwight Morrow will square off against Ridgefield Park at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. The Scarlets' pitching crew has only allowed 3.5 runs per game this season, so the Maroon Raiders' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Becton, they will take on Leonia at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
