Basketball Recap: Gardner-South Wilmington Takes a Loss

Gardner-South Wilmington was the 35-19 winner over Grant Park when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Gardner-South Wilmington Panthers took a 27-19 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Grant Park Dragons on Thursday. The Panthers just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

Gardner-South Wilmington's record is now 4-14. As for Grant Park, their win bumped their record up to 4-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Gardner-South Wilmington and Beecher will face off at 5:30 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played. As for Grant Park, they will square off against Wilmington at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday.
